Nice movie, plus question about the names

Having watched a couple of 'submarine' movies, I like the setting.
As to the accent, thanks for not doing it - it would be far too hilarious:) As well as referring each other as 'comrade' (yes, it is so in Russian, but it sounds funny when spoken in English). It looks more natural as it is, IMO.
Overall, nice movie!

The only question is, what are those names? Demi?? Bruni?? Bavenod? Are those last names (quite exotic then)? Well, other last names are OK, but these does look strange.

I think those were their first names.

Even Demi sometimes wore a uniform with his last name and it was a long one that would no way say "Demi" because it was like 6 or 7 letters. Of course i could be making a fool of myself now because of course i don't speak Russian.
