I am tired of this franchise, how many times they can replicate the same story?
How many times will they do the same formula?
- Toys in peril
- Toys in new environment that will put them in peril
- Toys with feelings that will milk feelings from the movie viewers
Rinse and repeat.
The first movie was a success because of its innovative story, the nostalgia effect for old toys and memorabilia, an entertaining story and the amazing technological advance for its time.
Now this series of movies stand more for the nostalgia of the movie series itself, even thou each movie repeats the same formula over and over.
How many times you can watch toys having more problems than a WWII soldier in D Day?, it is getting ridiculous.
They should have ended on the third one, even that one was a stretch for me but it had a nice ending for the whole story, end of an era and leave the future as a new beginning and a happy life for the toys, not a new beginning to start milking the cow another 20 years.
