Toy Story 5 confirmed

I doubt that Toy Story 5 will redeem the franchise considering Lightyear flopped. Although I thought Toy Story 4 was just good. Not a perfect one and lacks the spark of the first three films... just good.

Of course it will be. And if it flops, maybe they'll finally learn their lesson.

Why would a 5th redeem it? They just need to stop making them pure and simple. It already sounds wrong saying the number 5 after it. Should have stopped at the third where it made for a perfect trilogy. The 4th spoiled things with its rather weak story.

It’s all but guaranteed to be woke. It’s not going to redeem the series. Best to just stop watching after movie 3.

If they're going to do that then they should just make up a new title. I agree though that that's the way they should approach it if they're desperate enough to continue this. They have exhausted those characters now (they already did by the third one) and the voice actors are no longer spring chickens. We're in a new era in terms of what kids spend their time playing with now anyway. Tablets/phones/laptops and other devices are the norm with the advancement of technology since the 90's. I thought the 4th one might have incorporated this into its story but it never did.

Right? Like how many times are they gonna "end" the characters' story.

Cause both part 3 & 4 both had endings for the original toys.

The next one should honestly just be a spinoff rather than part 5
