Is Marvel on the greatest roll any studio has ever been on?

Iron Man 3 turned out to be a massive treat that most everyone enjoyed. It certainly kicked box office tail. This film is simply wonderful and is loved more from the true fanboys than IM3.

Now that this movie is at $330 million in the blink of an eye, it's even more fair to ask is Marvel on the greatest roll any studio has ever been on? I can't remember when a studio produced this many quality hits in a row with no misses whatsoever. I know they are smaller compared to the big guns (producing only two films a year)but this is one impressive streak. Not only in terms of box office but in terms of quality. Every film has been good to great. ALL of their efforts have been "fresh" with the critics.

How long can this continue? Certainly Thor Dark World hit it out of the park. Captain America The Winter Soldier seems to be getting the best buzz of them all. That preview attached to the Thor 3D was as amazing as it gets.

Is Guardians of the Galaxy the weak link?

Pixar? Only Rotten movie was Cars 2 about 15 years after their debut.

Disney animation even without pixar easily beats marvel so far. Snow white,Bambi, dumbo, the lion King, cinderella, 101 Dalmatians,Alice in Wonderland,brave little toaster and the list goes on.

Seems like every decade they have multiple instant classic movies.

That or Studio Ghibli having the top grossing movie in Japan multiple times.

Seems that way. I don't think the characters are famous compared to those in the Avengers and it looks animated too which isn't usually a big draw

If they aren't on the GREATEST roll there has ever been, they are certainly on in the top three all time greatest roll if you compare Marvel now with where the others where five years in. How will they fare in the future? Who knows, it only takes one flop to tarnish their winning streak. But regradless, pretty much all other studios would sacrifice their firstborn for Marvel's track record.

yeah look at pixar and cars 2

No one is bullet proof but for know the only real bad performer they have had is the hulk film and since that fed into the avengers even its not that big a deal.

Not just Marvel, Disney it self is just taking in money left and right since it owns Marvel... And with Star Wars on the horizon... It will get even better for them

With IM3 and now Thor, Marvel is crapping on even what Pixar has been albe to do. Didn't think that possible.
