First interracial couple on Disney?

yeah, probably the first interracial couple in a disney series, although in the "twitches" movies, the main characters' parents were an interracial couple.
i've been pleased to see (presumably) gay characters on the disney channel as well. pleased because their (perceived) homosexuality had nothing to do with the story and they were presented as just, well, people. a couple of the characters i can think of off-hand were antonio, the talented singer/dancer in that "suite life" episode where the kids were in a 'high school musical'; the drama instructor on lizzie mcguire; and the stylist on hannah montana—come to think of it, he was pretty flamboyant, but still, they didn't make a big deal out of it.
Hmm, interesting. I never thought about those characters sexuality. Then again, like you said them being represented as actual people is awesome enough! Are there any other male and female characters that were so called "perceived" of being homosexual? I can't think of any others.
They are White and Black...So what? So am I, no big deal and not really a good reason to watch.

Well, they had Taylor's moms, Susan and Cheryl, in Good Luck Charlie.
But unfortunately they were only in one episode. I'm still waiting for a main character. share
I don't know. Honestly, I think gay characters will start appearing in kid shows much much sooner than that.
