I really don't understand why they didn't make Adam a blond because his character is so like them---- who agrees with me?

I think Chase looks a lot like Douglas.

I love Douglas' character. He gives off this eccentric mad scientist vibe, that kind of reminds me of Doc Brown(ala Back to the Future.)
