Should one of the 'Rats' become a villainous character?

I think it would be an interesting twist in the franchise. Minus Douglas and Krane, and with the minimizing of the training and mission aspects, we're left with bionic related home, school and work hijinks. That's actually really my only nitpick with the show…the mission and training aspects have really been minimized for the more kookier fun and hijinks. I think having one of the kids go to the other side could remedy that and inject some of action or hero elements. But who?

Myself, I'm a Chase fan, but I think Chase is the perfect one to switch sides. He gets dogged on constantly by Adam, Bree, and Leo…and some of the adults (Perry), he's usually the butt of jokes and pranks (Adam & occasionally Leo), and over the series/seasons, whether home or school related, Adam, Bree, & Leo have brought a few times why nobody likes him. All thats villain in the making stuff. He's basically been set up to be universally hated in this world…again…villain making material.

I don't know, I don't think I really would like to watch any of them turn on each other in a serious way, they are after all family. Sure Douglas is also part of there family, but he's clearly a sociopath. Besides I don't think its ever going to get so serious they would outright turn on each other, no matter how many times they quarrel they also have many moments where they get along.

I feel a bit sorry for Chase but he's just picked the short straw, of the three he's the youngest, he's nerdish, he's short and he's a bit arrogant. That kind of makes him the main target.

Hello mddwbsst,

I agree to a point. I was thinking, they've strayed from the mission and training aspect of the first season, and from second season to now, they more focus on bionic hijinks. I mean, we have characters like Marcus, Douglas, and Krane…but their appearances are few and far between. I just think it's an interesting twist.

I see where your coming from, but the problem is we can't have them appear to often or else they will loose there teeth. A better solution would be to include more mini villains, but that might be difficult to set up in the premise of the series.

I think they should go back to missions honestly. They've basically done away with that and upped Perry and now Tech-Town and upped the Bionic Hijinks aspect. I liked having a balance of the missions and training…plus the hijinks. Sorry if I sound like I'm complaining.

Don't be, I agree with you, the balance seems to have shifted and not for the better. Hopefully it will sort it out as the series progress, after all its still reasonably early in the season.
