Those plugs aren't like your normal three-pin jobby on the kettle or toaster. Later, at another camp site one could see her in the background plugging in the plug with alacrity, so practice makes perfect. However, it became obvious that they were both psychos, probably from birth. A normal person's reaction, on learning that her partner had just topped someone, would be to call the cops, or at least run away and leave him to it. No one was normal. Even the dog had a split personality...
shareI took that as a sign of how she's lived her life in that house with her domineering mother and so struggles with any deviation from her normal life.
