I think Charlton Heston was a stupid gun worshiping *beep* with a complete lack of empathy for the victims of gun violence, but I still enjoy Ben Hur.
He was in Saving Private Ryan for about 20 minutes, and it was undemanding, and outside of the action, and the spectacle it was not a fantastic movie.
