My opinion on Matt Damon- cause why not...

Look, I don't care about this stuff (usually- looking at you "the last airbender"). But I've honestly got to say that I hope they don't actually try to pass Willem Dafoe, Matt Damon, and Pedro Pascal as being Chinese. The director described them as being: "3 soldiers in search of gunpowder who stumble onto the great wall".
So it's possible they aren't actually Chinese. So people gotta calm down a bit.
Matt Damon looks badass in this movie.

1,700 years to build the wall to keep "them" out. It's nice they waited so long to attack, like after the wall was built.

Matt Damon looks f-ing ridiculous in this movie, what are you smoking? Most people who don't care about the cast makeup are even saying that. He looks extra gimpy with that wannabe top-knot-ponytail travesty.

NO!! They're not Chinese lol.

Damon and Pascal are westerners and get captured at The Wall in beginning of movie - look at the trailer when Luhan is charging towards the camera with spear and you see them tied up in the background. They have long beards and are wearing their western clothes.

Dafoe has already been at The Wall for some time already and is sort of a house prisoner - the Chinese haven't let him leave because they don't want the gunpowder secret to get out and he has been teaching English to some of the characters.
