Paid shills are putting the movie down, but who is paying them?
A Hollywood studio? A rival game company?
shareWhat possible profit would there be to paying people to bash a film? Especially one that has already flopped?
I'm not a paid shill, just an ordinary dude in Ohio that saw this movie Sunday night at a discount theater - paid $4.50 to see it in 3D.
I love the games, I like most of the cast but this movie was garbage in pretty much every sense - the two people who were with me are also not paid shills and they greatly disliked it as well.
Its just a bad movie, no one needs to pay anyone to give this a bad review.
It's just your opinion. This film made more than $200 million. This money could simply move to another blockbuster like Sing or Star Wars: A Rogue One Story if not Assassin's Creed. Disney or Illumination needed AC to fail or gross as little as possible because it was taking their potential clients/money. Here's your possible profit.
