Horrible numbers for as big of a name as the Assassins Creed franchise is. I've been to a couple of foreign countries and have even seen people play these games in the far corners of the globe. Yet it is only making pedestrian numbers worldwide, that's pathetic for that big of a name. I've seen better numbers from no-name first time movies.
shareIt hasn't even opened in all foreign territories yet, so we have to wait and see. That number will increase as it opens in more markets. It's apparently performing best in Spain and France at the moment (I expected that it do best in France). Warcraft also didn't start off with much but the foreign gross increased as it opened in some of the top spots in more countries until it finally opened in the top spot in China which practically saved the movie.

I'm well aware that Assassin's Creed is not going to do as well as Warcraft in China because the game is not as popular there. But I'd guess that it might gross as much as $250 - $350 million globally when all is said and done but we'll have to wait and see.
