They should bring back the Animus 2.0

This new animus was creative and all but I personally think that they should use the animus from the game in the sequel (If they do one) seeing as it was in the backround as an easter egg in the movie, it would be nice fan service, and best of all would guarantee NO cutting back and forth from past to present during the Spanish Inquisition scenes! Just my personal opinion though, let me know what you think.

I saw the trailer and I honestly think the new animus looks really dumb.

It's an unnecesary change.

Also, by the looks of it the new animus broke or something in the movie so...all the more reason to bring back the old one! :D

Definitely, it makes more sense to me that you'd get into a chair or lie on a bed when you enter the Animus, as you're not actually doing any of the actions, you're just reliving your ancestor's memory. That said, the only benefit the new Animus had is you saw how he got stronger and learnt how to fight well because he was physically carrying out the actions, but it wasn't necessary.

reply

Perfect. Just "dumb", without any explanation behind it. The fact that you think it's "dumb" doesn't mean that it is "dumb", because you didn't explaing why it's so.

Nolan, I love you forever!

100% agreed

I've seen the movie and this is what bothered me the most about the movie, the animus

unnecessary change so the director could put his stamp on the movie
what an idiot

1101?

reply

Agree. The new animus made the protagonist look like a clown. And totally unnecessary.

The point of the pimped up animus in the movie was so it wouldn't look like The Matrix.

I actually didn't like the movie at all, but I really didn't have a problem with the new design for the animus.
