I went primarily to test a theater's "Dolby Vision" experience. A 4K laser beamer system, along with Atmos Sound.
And I must say, I was a bit disappointed by what this movie delivered in that aspect. Some panning shots were awfully blurry due to 24fps/sloppy depth of field, and while the Dolby Atmos intro teaser before the feature film was a kickass experience, all (dialog) audio came from the front speakers, no matter where the sound should have come from, display wise.
I couldn't find the Atmos experience reviewed online before I went to see the movie, and I'm beginning to think now I know why. Just because a movie has an Atmos track, doesn't mean it's used all the time. Only a few arrows' ricochet really doesn't do it for me!
