doesn't deserve the hate, but not so good either

i'm a diehard fan of the games, bought every special collectors edition of the game,
got all the assassins statues etc, and i was happy asf when i saw a assassins creed movie was being made with michael and marion cottilard.

yesterday i went and saw assassins creed in cinema with my girlfriend who know absolutly nothing about the games, but is movie freak.

i was a bit confused about this movie, it isn't bad, but it isn't very good either.
my girlfriend loved the first 30 minutes of the movie and the parts with aguilar but she hated the parts in the present day and i found myself agreeing with her.

the first 30 minutes really gave me a assassins creed 1 feeling, outside from the fact we got not much backstory about cal, but it was very good, and the scenes with aguilar where absolutly great, and beautiful!

but the present day scenes and plot just weren't doing this movie any justice. so i kinda understand it getting bashed by critics, but i also kinda don't,
i do thinks it's one of the better video game movie adaptions!

i do hope we get a sequel so we can see the cast try again cause they got a great cast,
but i think a movie like this, should either look at some elements of the matrix if you know what i mean,
or should just make drop the present day plot and make the whole movie about aguilar or some other assassin.

sorry for my bad english, i'm form holland!
