The Animus was idiotic and the battle scenes were bad

Who came up with the idea of the Animus being like that? It looked moronic. The battle scenes, apart from a few stunts that looked well-executed and shot, were just bad. The set-up of scenes was amateurish and the story was simply inconsistent. They didn't care about film-making when they went to produce it. A cash-grab is what this was and the fact that Ubisoft was part of the creative team tells you they couldn't care less. Quality went out the window in favor of a Bay-like approach to film.

That's why I walked out of this crap.

The part that pissed me off and made it hard to watch were the constant cuts between modern day and the past while he was fighting. *beep* awful!
