Could Paul Anderson or Michael Bay done a better job?

Thoughts?

While I don't think either could've done better, having Bay as director would've at least guaranteed us a longer runtime, and having Anderson as director would likely have made the film more fun (in a cheap way).

Paul Anderson? The guy who did Boogie Nights an the Master? Why would he do a vid game movie? LOL

I'm pretty sure he meant Paul W.S Anderson. The one who did the resident evil movies.

It was Paul W.S Anderson I meant. At least his movies are making money.

This guy is trolling hard, good luck to anyone falling on his bait.

Nope.
I actually think the director of this movie was one of the best options for this film.
I am a DIEHARD fan of the games, and i think that this directors past films have some similar tone/visual style/cues that fit the game universe.

I just think that the movie got screwed in the editing room.
Like a lot of films lately that had great scenes and performances, but thinks got confusing and convoluted because of editing issues(Like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Ghost Busters ETC))
It also had a terrible script.

This game franchise is smart and mysterious. Bay would have made them all transformers, and Paul Anderson hasn't made any good films. (In my opinion)

Neither ones have the directing style that would match, and most likely not the respect for the source material.
