AC getting "clobbered" at the box office by Rogue One and Sing!!!!

With the early Christmas weekend openings, it looks like Assassins Creed is getting "clobbered" by Rogue One and Sing according to early box office reports! Wow! That is surprising!! I didn't think Passengers would beat it too but it is so far! I hope it pulls ahead but this is a very bad start!

My surprise lies with the fact that Sing is killing it. Looks like a straight to dvd animated movie.

I never expected a video game movie to do well. I expected this to tank like Warcraft, and it looks like that's what it will do.

I don't think the studio expected it to do well either, that's why they buried it behind star wars and kept the embargo up for so long.

There is a reason why Studios will not spend big bucks on a video game film unless the video game company agrees to pay for a good deal of the budget....

Rogue One looks like a chicks flick. If they put a woman on lead role for Star Wars then the movie is not for me. Also skipped the "first" episode since black storm troopers waving light saber and having relationship to white light saber waving woman just wasn't my cup of tea.
