All that hacking and slashing

And no blood

reply

Greenband trailer so no blood.

reply

PG-13 film, so no blood, even though the games didn't have that much blood & gore itself.

reply

The games did have some blood and gore, especially Assassin's Creed 3.

reply

Exactly. I don't understand why people don't get that. Plenty of PG-13 movies have plenty of blood.

LOL that's right, its PG13 sanitized junk for simpletons

PG13 sucks for this and it has 17% on RT

This movie can't be worse than Suicide Squad. I think critics are trying to take down Fox.

reply

LOL how would you explain Deadpool and Days of Future Past?

Raging Bull = Best movie

This movie can't be worse than Suicide Squad.

Well it is

reply

At least Suicide Squad was funny with Will Smith. This movie was as charismatic as a block of f'in wood.

Bloodless PG-13 movies like this are awful. There were scenes that had blatant, close up use of blades without a drop anywhere, like 90% of the Wolverine fight scenes in the X-Men franchise (they managed to have a few bits of blood here and there in The Wolverine and blood stains on his claws in Apocalypse).

It just looks stupid, and takes away from the drama of the scene. How can people logically be okay with the sight of a character that should have blood coming from them after an injury just falling to the floor? Taking away blood takes away the seriousness of combat in a scene.

You said it. anything to get by with a pg-13 in an attempt to make some extra moolah. Didn't have the spirit of the games whatsoever.
