They will continue to make games so I don't care. Anyway thats what you get when you make a crap flim. Hopefully the guys behind the Tomb Raider film learn from this.

LOL, learn from what... Jolie had already made (extremely) sure to have had created some serious $#!7

This were moar important to them, than making a good picture: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0325703/mediaviewer/rm4219601408

Edit: Oh and THANKFULLY such days are (long!) over, as today those actresses have the option to "leak" their sex-videos and naked bathroom "selfies" on the Internet. No more sex-promotion and basic instinct(s) have to be inter-woven with films; SO glad that's over and done with!..:)

They won't because it's easier said than done. The new Tomb Raider reboot film is based on the story of the 2013 game reboot. The trouble is that while that game might have a good story, it's not a linear narrative like most game narratives and does not lend itself easily to the three act structure of a screenplay. It's kind of also the reason why the Mass Effect movie has been stuck in development hell for such a long time but that's another extreme example.

At least that one might still do okay because people liked the original Tomb Raider movies with Angelina Jolie and their DVD's are still selling.

Should have keep to the past no future stuff put Antonio banderas in the lead gave it a 40 mill budget get out a rake when the money comes in

The 2013 Tomb Raider game would be a great bases for an R rated survival film. I think it can be condesed in 2 hours and still be intense and good. I loved the Japanese island setting. And hope they use it in the film. I doubt it will be rated R though. In fact I highly doubt it. that sucks cause it needs to be as intense as the Grey and revenant.
