Assassins Creed would work better as a TV show

More time to develop the ancestor, his motivations becoming an Assassin or even Templar or perhaps a Templar who becomes an Assassin and vice versa.

That's what I said. I want a Netflix series. Only they can get it right!

Yeah that would be cool.

Lose the Game!!!!!!!

They could still make one. About Ezio. That would be amazing.

In fact they could just call it "Ezio"

reply

They could, but that would be a horrible name and noone would watch it.

I don't think so. In my opinion AC was made to be on the big screen, they just *beep* up hard on the execution...If they just put the Ezio trilogy to film with a decent writer this would've been an easy hit with 70% past 30% present and not reverse. Or they could've just taken Connors story without any present time and it would've made a great movie. The storys in AC are made for an epic movie. I feel like every person that played the game could come up with a better script than these *beep* .

Well, with a tv show, it would be easier to focus on the high profile assassinations due to having more screen time to devote to them. There would be additional time to show the intel gathering, preparation, and making the each execution of the assassination strategy fairly elaborate.

If they did the stories of Altair and Ezio, there would be a lot of very interesting assassination targets. Many people forget that the first game did in fact have some colorful and intriguing adversaries. The lack of side missions and the absence of certain gameplay features that emerged in later games wouldn't matter on a tv show or a movie. Imagine watching a tv version of the Abu'l, Nuqoud, Jubair al Hakim, and Sibrand assassinations. Also, what happens toward the end of the game, including with the final boss, would be great material for a show. Of course, it would have to be handled properly.

The Ezio saga would also work very well. Additionally, Rogue's story would make a good choice, both due to its take on the Assassin-Templar conflict and also for its generally great script/plot.

I hope this is not the last Assassin's Creed foray into non-gaming tv/movie screen. There is a lot of potential to utilize with this series.

If, hypothetically, there does end up being a sequel to the current movie, non-fans of the series might find the modern part more interesting in the sequel since it will not focus on the Abstergo facility. There would likely be some more character development for Baptiste, Lin, and the Abstergo security chief.
