James Wong

Be my guest and add to this list. Every single one of these chumps have directed video game adaptations in some capacity perhaps with the exception of Pitof, who I added on because of that pathetic Catwoman movie with Halle Berry. And for gods sake, the video game community should riot if they see Paul Anderson get his slimy, smelly ass hands on another video game adaptation ever again, because he has done enough damage all by himself.

I feel like kurzel is a good director but something just went wrong here... I think it was 100% the script and it's writers adam Cooper and bill collage they are terrible screenwriters so I think it was absolutely the script that was the problem not kurzel

Then he should have just told them straight away how terrible they are as writers and got them to either change it, or get them fired. The blame is still going on the director for letting it happen, since.....you know, he's the director. He's gotta have some say in what goes into the script. As great as a director some people were saying he was, I was expecting better regardless.

I agree with this on 100%. If this is really someone else's fault is this movie is really bad, it's on screenwriters.

Well, Paul W.S. Anderson's movies are at least fun and entertaining. Mortal Kombat (the first one) is still considered the best game adaptation 20 years later and the Resident Evil series at least gained an audience. Despite critical reception, one can make the argument that he's the only director that knows how adapt a computer game because he has multiple successful ones.
