I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It is definitely not a masterpiece of cinema but it was entertaining and good especially for a video game movie. I really recommend if you are on the fence.

Agreed. I went in low expectations as well and I really enjoyed it. The hate is a very unfair. I see all the negatives for sure. The script and dialogue is weak, but it definitely is a "fun" movie
