What Video Game would you like on the Big Screen Next??

i got a few off the top of my head i would love , if done right and done rated "R"

In no particular order
God of War- R with strong violence, sexual content and nudity
Far Cry- R with strong violence, language, brief nudity
Red Dead Redemption-R with strong violence.language, brief nudity
The Last of Us- R with strong violence, language
Uncharted- i'm cool with a pg-13 here, brief language, violence and i could see Bradley Cooper playing the lead
Chainsaw Lollipop- R with strong sexual content, nudity, violence and language with
Charlotte McKinney as the lead(i know she aint a actress but she is HOt as *beep* and looks like the main character).

also would like to see them retry with Street Fighter and another Mortal Kombat.

I'd love to see Bioshock made into a movie.
Dead Space might be cool too.

Have you ever noticed that the people who say "DC is for adults and Marvel is for kids", are kids?

reply

YES!!!! Both great picks, what would you want the ratings to be and who would you like to be the leads???

reply

Great choice! In particular I hope in an adaptation of Bioshock Infinite, which has an amazing plot :D

reply

I think what will make these games great movies is a new story, not a retelling of the game. (Like Assassins Creed is)

Uncharted-PG-13

Halo-PG-13 or R (Depends if it has the Flood or not)(Should be based on the Fall of Reach novel, Master Chiefs origin and training)

Read Dead Redeption-R

Prince of Persa-PG-13 (Based on the 2008 Ubisoft game)

reply

Assassin's creed is not a retelling. The events of the games happend in the movie. It's a new story within the universe of Assassin's creed

Thief is going to be butchered yes.

All movies should follow Assassin's Creed in terms of making a new story that connects with the story told in the games and not changing a important plotpoint.

Me too

reply

I apologize, my grammar was off, I meant it was a new story. My bad

reply

No biggie everybody can make mistakes ;).

I already thought you meant that but thanks for clarifying.

reply

I could have made my point a bit more clear

reply

yes , i would love another prince of persia movie as well, for all the hate it got i really enjoyed it and thought Jake Gyllenhaal was great as the lead.

reply

Metroid, even though Nintendo would never allow it.

reply

I'd love to see Fallout or Gothic .

reply

Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness as a two part action-noir thriller from Christopher Nolan with R rating.

reply

yes , love the idea, i thought Jolie did a great job portraying her, of course she is too old to play her now . Who do you think would make a great choice to play the lead???I can't think of anybody off the top of my head, whoever it is i would love some nudity be required if they go the R rated route.

reply

Alicia Vikander (who is coincidentally dating Michael Fassbender) is the new Lara Croft, this was announced a while ago.

reply

Well while I have almost whole cast in my head I can't think of a good Lara Croft. Vikander is good but I think Nina Dobrev or Sophie Cookson would do the job.

reply

I love the Nina Dobrev pick , she is sexy as hell ,banging body be nice if she showed some skin already ,didnt know who Sophie Cookson was so i looked her up and she is sexy and has the look as well , both would be great choices.Stick with the R rating as well.Make it more edgy and don't try to appeal to the teens , they have enough crap to watch already.I would even go with a lower budget company who wasn't afraid to take chances. It won't never happen but it's nice to think about .

reply

A year ago, I would of said Starcraft. Now I'd say none, if they're incapable of making a good one.

reply

God of War, Ninja Gaiden 2, Metal Gear Solid and Read Dead Redemption are a few that come to mind. I'd also like to see another team have a crack at Assassin's Creed with half the budget of this one and an R rating, because I think it has fantastic potential. It's just too bad that it's seemingly been squandered, again.
