I think that Fassbender looks plausible enough as a Spaniard. Even though they gave him dark hair for Aguilar, he could've even stayed ginger for it. There are plenty of ginger Spaniards.
Now, whether the movie is going to suck or not, I don't know.
Wow and in movies about jesus like pasha he is played by white male. Nobody said *beep* about that. 300 actors should be greek right? Bravehart shouldnt have mel gibson then and so on

It won't be good but it may not be bad. Unfortunately this will be probably the only Assassin's Creed movie ever made. It will cost more than it brings in. The director is never really had a good movie and the rating is PG-13. It's going to be a watered-down film for sure.

Not necessarily. Ubisoft didn't sell the rights. They made the movie. They created their own film studio to make the movie with Fox. And while most video game movies are based on a specific game or games. This is based in the series with an original story to exist alongside the games in the same universe. As in future games may reference the events that happen in the movie but you will never play as Callum Lynch or any of the characters from the movies.
