clears the way for Fassbender to be Bond

Now Assassins Creed has missed the mark (and XMen has finished for him) maybe he will want to do bond

Eon are probably getting tired of the fast pushing 50 Craig being so noncommittal about Bond 25 they might go with Fassbender (who is the right age now)

Yes! I love Fassbender. He's perfect for Bond.

He will never be Bond, he doesn't have that star power.

When have they ever got a big star for bond? If anything MF would be the biggest name to ever take the role

None of the actors who have played Bond so far had "that star power".

He's not as popular as Fassbender.

They purposefully pick actors to play Bond that aren't big names.

He's already stated that he'd never play Bond and suggested other actors for the role.

Craig has stated he will most likely do at least one more Bond film, which means the role won't be vacant until 2018 at the earliest. Fassbender will be 42 at that point.
