Because no one knows how to do them right yet.
shareThey seemingly think game movies have to be flashy, action-y, noisy and excessively "cool" to look at.
Either not enough effort (Warcraft being the rare exception of too much effort) or consideration for the source material. It doesn't help that for a long time, only unpopular directors,, wooden actors, and hack writers were making them.
Whatever you are, be a good one.
