PG-13

Are you kidding me all the games are rated M. Why couldn't they make this R?

reply

Tell me what in the games makes it R-rated martial? The swearing? No. The blood? No because te only thing you see in the games is a tiny ass bloodspurt you can hardly call that R-rated material.

reply

You like regurgitating nonsense don't you. (rhetorical question)

It ain't nonsense. I just don't see why pg13 for a AC movies because the amount of mature content in the games is very low. A bloodspurt doesn?t make it mature. And there is also almost no bad language and nudity is also non existent in the games. So there is no need for a R rating.

It is nonsense. Wake up to reality.

With that Picture you only prove my point that pg13 ain't a bad thing for the movie.

If I have to read you say "tiny ass bloodspurt" one more time on this forum, I might lose my damn mind.

Assassin's Creed is a mature franchise. The action is all about stabbing. Stabbing. Knife, going into flesh. You can't articulate the impact of that with a PG-13 rating that demands you to film around showing impacts, entrance/exit wounds and much blood.

If that common sense argument doesn't convince you, their entire marketing campaign shows big blood splashes across white backgrounds. If that alone doesn't tell you that their is an issue with this rating, I don't know what will. There's more blood in the animated title card on their trailers than they can show in the actual film. This is clearly an attempt to maximize the audience at the detriment of the film's action. It's a poor move. Stop defending it.
