Ignore the critics!! This is NOT A BAD MOVIE!!

Something is going on because the really low scores are BS!! Are people getting paid to pan this movie? Are people trying to low score this movie just to prop up their favorites? What's going on?

This is a solid action movie with a good story. 7.3/10

The dialogue isn't the greatest but it's a good movie overall. The cinematography is great.

Fassbender is badass for all the stunts he pulled off. I want to see the sequel.

It's ok to like more than one actor. :))

Please, Mr. Faceless Wall of Text, explain why anyone would "ignore the critics" in favor of some random dude online.

And, yes, "something" is going on: a movie you appear to be personally invested in is getting hammered. That stinks -- I was hoping for a fun AC movie, too -- but it happens to everyone. Please think through your "the critics are getting paid off" theory. That never makes a lick of sense.

Agree with OP. I thought the film was excellent, the points critics are making I disagree with completely. I also don't know why everyone is acting surprised the film takes place mostly in present. From the beginning of production they said it would be 70/30. This isn't news and it's not like the filmmakers lied to us. I recommend seeing the film for yourself. Critics are so off these days this entire year has been a disaster

Just because they announced they made poor decisions with the film does NOT make those poor decisions any better. Also, people are not surprised how much it takes place in the present - they're just surprised at how the film flows horribly and is a bore.
