30M over six days, similar to Warcraft. Don't know how much it will drop next week though.
If China release happens and it will probably be below the 220M Warcraft did, I guess a 350M gross could happen. 400M if it does really well in US, UK and France, major territories.
So a failure.
shareYes. For a big budget film like this, that's a failure. Ubisoft says the budget wasn't far or close to 200M so I assume it's on the 150M range, maybe a bit more or a bit less (not 125M as Variety reported hahaha). Considering marketing money such as ads all over the world and the premiere and photocalls, Fox probably spent 60-80M. It would need around 450-500M to break even.

shareThere is small difference - Warcraft was made by Chinesse Company, with strong marketing push in China and the biggest playerbase is in China and with Blizzard being the strongest in China. AC have none of that. I can be suprised but I think with all of this it will make like 60% of what Warcraft earn; tops.
Right know even with the most positive scenario it still will be failure.
I think it could have a similar performance to Prince of Persia in US (around 90M) but overseas it won't make a lot of money. China could be big but it wouldn't be enough to break even unless Spain, UK and France are big.
shareI don't see that numbers. Assassin's Creed might do better in the USA and Latin American countries than Warcraft, but I don't think it will break out.
Warcraft was also pretty successful in Eastern Europe and other parts of Europe like Germany. I guess AC will lose 150 million USD in China alone in comparison.
The exchange rates make it even worse for Assassin's Creed, because the USD is pretty strong right now.
I would not expect more than 300 million USD WW. Which would at least be better than Alice 2, TMNT 2 or Ghostbusters 2016.

Less than 300M? That's awful. I would guess something between Warcraft and Angry Birds.
