Will we ever get it right?

I just want to get this out of my chest: Ignorance is a bliss. I wanted to come into this movie clean handed (hard, since this movie is coming to my country on January 13th, avoiding reviews, minor and major spoilers is nigh impossible), to be pleasantly surprised, and god i was surprised, just not in a good way.

I'm a big fan of AC, it ties for my favorite VG franchise, i was one of those who tried to look on the bright side when someone pointed out a flaw in this movie (there were a lot of those, and with good reason), i was seriously hoping that a movie based on my favorite franchise, with a great premise(Fassbender is one of my favorite actors, and Marion's and Jeremy's performances speak for themselves, i liked the fact that they used the Spanish Inquisition since i'm latino and i already speak Spanish, and i feel medieval settings work better in the franchise and AC II (te same time period) is my favorite, and best of all, an original story within the same universe's canon, the best possible decision they could have taken), but apparently it all fell short in the end, i got my hopes up with the fans reviews, but they contrast heavily against the critics reviews.

To say i'm disappointed would be an understatement, just like FF XV i've been waiting for long for a product that apparently didn't live up to the hype, and it stings.

I will say this, i WILL go to the cinema, and i WILL enjoy this movie immensely, since i very much enjoy movies regardless of what critics think of them, and despite my excitement i knew that this movie could fail, i was just hoping it didn't, and i hope that the main actors don't consider this a stain in their careers. So to sum this up,
let's wait til' the movie come out tomorrow to make a veredict, and then, we shall know what this movie makes right and what it does wrong.
