It takes a certain amount of stupidity to ruin such a story
Out of all the video-games, AC has the best story. It's perfect to turn into a film and yet they found a way to create a POS with an excellent cast.
shareI knew it would be bad once they decided to not base it on the first game, from that decision alone you knew that the people that produced this film had no passion for the source material
shareI think the opposite, i think creating a new story within the same universe was the best possible choice, if you make a direct adaptation you would find more reasons to complain, it's also loyal to the source material since it's the same freaking universe, AC is the kind of franchise that can make it work, it's just disappointing that it didn't.
The biggest problem with society is that it refuses to believe that different opinions do exist.
