is the first movie of Kurzel that is bad, i had hope in the cast (fassbender, cotillard and Irons), that ubisoft was co-producing the movie

Nope, the trailer gave it away. When rap or loud rock music starts playing in a trailer, you know you're in for an absolute schitt bomb.

Also, the fact that it's based on a game series doesn't exactly help.

Black skinhead a song by Kanye west was the first ever song for the first ever trailer for wolf of Wall Street. That movie is considered pretty good if I'm not mistaken . So your theory is not totally true

But that is a modern-day set film about drugs and partying - the song was appropriate.

No all of kurzels movies have been garbage the real question is how could someone with 3 fairly bad movies get a 130 mill block buster put in he's lap

Of course you know better how Macbeth should be presented on screen than Fassbender, Cotillard and all the producers which approved Kurzel's candudature on Assassin's Creed.

Both Macbeth and Snowtown is an acclaimed films which has a lot of admirers and will become classics after some time.
