A whole one of the reviews?!! My goodness!! Yes critics hate high concept ideas! They just give superhero movies and star wars and lord of the rings and Avatar etc a pass.

Critics are biased against bad movies. Period. If you don't like it, dont read reviews. Ignorance is bliss until you see it for yourself and realize they were right.
