Parts that were actually funny.

I'm with a lot of people in thinking this film was...ok, but sadly did not live up to the first one. (which is probably pretty hard to do, but still, I was expecting better.) However, I did crack up at a handful of scenes:

Harry's fantasy of being a father, smacking Penny in the face with a door to knock her tooth out. And later on when Lloyd shows up, dirty and waddling down the street in skis and a tutu to eat the garbage.

Scaring Billy in 4-C.

Harry going deaf.

Lloyd laughing at Harry's Asian parent's language.

The flashback of them laughing, while flipping their car as teens.

Walking through the entire row of people at the uni-lecture to get to their end seats.

The Mutt's Cuts van cameo...didn't make me laugh so much as it made me emotional. As soon as I heard that guitar riff, I felt a wave of nostalgia.

I'm sure there are more that I'm missing, as it's been a while since I've watched the movie.

For me, I would have to reverse it with just parts that were not AS funny, which would have to be the opening, but that's due to the trailer, which the original film also suffered from with the " Limo, That's a lovely accent you have...scene". I actually find both movies ridiculous funny and some standouts for me:

He who smelt it, game

Hearing aids

Lloyds dream sequence

Fireworks

Reuniting with Feltcher for first time/smiley tattoo

If you haven't seen it in a while, I recommend a re-watch. Ive seen it like three times now and it's getting more addicting every time! And that;s how the original one was for me. I can probably recite the entire movie from start to finish and I agree man, Mutt Cutts was an emotional scene, with TooMuch of a good thing playing, doing the jump and zooming in on them with their big smiles, just a fantastic scene.

TO me, they are a perfect combo and I just love To alot now!!!

I love the part where he gets in the barking dog's face because I love animals so much that I sometimes do the same thing. Totally oblivious to the fact I probably should approach dogs with more caution.

There were only 2 parts that I really laughed out loud at:

1. Where they arrive at what they think is the daughter's address and when the door opens they remark that she looks just like Felcher, only for it to be revealed as Felcher's house because they went to the return address.

2. The phone scene where Lloyd picks up Penny's phone and starts talking to Harry thinking it's his dead dad calling, while Harry thinks he's talking to his daughter.

There were a few other smaller funny moments, but not enough unfortunately. Too many jokes were either predictable, gross out stuff, or just rehashes of the original movie's jokes.

I'll admit I laughed my ass off at the farting game. At first I was like "great, another fart joke." But then the whole "what do you mean you'll play with 2 people? If one of you smells a fart and you didn't fart, you know it was the other person!" had me laughing.

The three funniest parts easily were:

1. The fireworks prank- that was so funny I cried and couldn't catch my breath and reminded you of the hamburger prank in part one. He runs out of the room on fire and just jumps in the pool. This was the funniest scene for me.

2. If you smelt it- Again, this had me practically tearing up and laughing out loud. It's just the way they're talking about the game, and how the guy in the backseat cuts in and tells them the rules. This was easily the second funniest part and up there with the fireworks.

3. The Ken conference when the guy in the wheelchair who is supposed to be like a Stephen Hawking gets mad and spins around and starts talking to Harry and Lloyd. It was silly and goofy, but that's why it worked. This had me laughing out loud too, but not as long as numbers one and two above.

Then there were several pretty funny scenes and lines, but not near as many as in part one. It seemed like part one had twice as many smaller funny lines and parts and was more well polished and fresh outside of the main funny scenes. But the fireworks and the "Let's play if you smelt it" were absolutely hilarious and made you laugh til it hurt.
