I didn't get the lottery ticket scene. They read out the numbers and he has them all, but in the wrong order. Then he throws away the ticket. How is that funny?

Interesting, I wasn't aware of this. I'm sure many others weren't either, because most people I'm guessing don't bother with the lottery. So I don't think the joke worked entirely if much of the audience didn't get it.

If you have the same numbers as are drawn, you win. Harry therefore had a winning lottery ticket. However, because they read them out on the radio in a different order to the order they appeared on his ticket, Harry mistakenly believed his ticket wasn't a winner.
He threw away a lottery ticket worth millions of dollars, because he didn't understand the rules. That's the joke.
