I loved the 99 anime, but i loved more the manga cause it's often more crude and "realistic" than the anime (just like in many other series...)
So do you think this anime version s better than the paper manga ?

shareIndeed. the 99' version is great. And the manga is even better, it's one of the best manga i have ever read. But HxH 2011 is a masterpiece, i think it's better than both, the manga and the original version without a doubt. The animation is superb, the voice acting is better, it might be colorful at first, but as you go on, i think is even darker that the original series, there are no fillers, and there are two more arcs that the `99 version didn't had. Overall HxH 2011 is one of the greatest anime ever made.
shareBeen watching anime for 30+ years, and I've got to agree, this is absolutely one of the best anime made. Sadly, despite its greatness, it is vastly under appreciated. Which in a way is fine by me, because I don't have to listen to anyone weeb out about it, unlike One Punch Man or AoT or SAO, etc. etc. etc.
Violence. If it's not solving all your problems, you're simply not using enough.
