Why don't they sell their DVDs in the UK?

They are really big over here!
Pretty much everyone I know loves this show but we can only watch it on sky or online.
There are no region 2 DVD's so we can't see any of the extras or anything.
I don't get it, they even did an episode in the UK.
:-(

most dvds, if they aren't already region free u can enter a code off the internet to make it region free. I do that with all my players and buy dads from America and Australia. laptops and I believe playstation also play them. I have all the ij dvds and play them on my uk DVD player.

That's cool, where did you purchase them?
Are the DVD's censored? (As in the swear words) out of curiosity?

reply

Yep censored. :(

They sell region and code free DVD players quite cheaply now. I bought my first one about 15 years ago, and it was around $600 US. Now they are around $100 US and you can watch DVD's from almost every region (sometimes French DVD's, which use SECAM don't work) You can get them online, just type "region and code free DVD player" in your search engine. Make sure that they are code free and have a built-in converter to work on both PAL and NTSC televisions (those are the codes for UK and US televisions, respectively). If they don't say they will work on both TV's, you will need to get a separate TV converter.
