Dear Naughty Dog

I loved this game to death. I still don't see exactly why it should be adapted to film, it stands as a story on its own. If people want to be a part of that without having to play the game, there avenues to explore there, but it's up to the individual to explore them.

But on this, I'm not unwilling to compromise.

I had an idea a while ago, and I know Druckman probably isn't reading this --I hope he is-- but maybe leaving it here will get the word out:

If you're going to make a TLOU film, you should re-render the cutscenes, and new bits that tie them together in order to replace the gameplay. This way you could keep Troy and Ashley while preserving the story's integrity.

This is a really unique and rich story, and it doesn't deserve the death knoll that is a live-action adaptation.
