I didnt understand the way barbara would cross the sea. How Stella left?
shareBarbara's West German boyfriend arranged for a man to meet her on the beach with a rubber boat, and for her to have a bundle of money to pay him. The man in the boat would take her offshore to a larger boat, which would take her to Denmark. There wasn't enough room in the boat for both Barbara and Stella (note that the man held up one finger: "just one!"). So Barbara sent Stella, figuring she needed to leave more than she did (plus Barbara was getting hot for the hunky bearded guy).
