Awesome

I watched Netflix's new original series 'Narcos' and was craving more. The first episode is an adjustment because it feels cheaper, but give a few episodes. It's another take. It feels more detailed. I love it. It's probably my first fully spanish show. That says a lot because I'm pretty lazy. I don't know where they found the actors but they are very similar looking but also decent actors. I still recommend Narcos first, but this is pretty darn good.

I agree. I was turned on to this series by my nephew. I also watched "Narcos" and found it to be good. I thought that was the one he watched. I found out about this one and thought I'd try it. I am also lazy, if by that you mean reading subtitles. I HATE them, but I became so engaged in this story I have been binging on it. I do have to smile a little bit at the occasional dramatic soap-opera music score, but otherwise I find it very, very good. Well, I have maybe 10 more episodes, so I am gonna get back to it.

Agreed. Miles better than Narcos. Proper Colombians not with all due respect Mexicans and others. I have to disagree with the review that said it would have been a 10 if in English - that would have been appalling - trying to translate plato o plomo into English would just make it sound silly. The Colombian love of formality etc come out well (no one ever says just Congreso but always Congreso de la Republica)

Excellent throughout, but (no spoiler) Parra is stunning in episode 36.
