So let me get my Tomrrowland movies straight...

There's this one.
And this one: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1964418/?ref_=sr_1
Right?
The latter is sanctioned and produced by Disney and directed by Brad Bird. Right? And this one is a total indie film not actually affiliated with Disney in any way, but rather using 1960's Disneyland as a setting for parody and/or subversive rhetoric. Right? If so, how are they getting around copyright laws since everything in and about the actual park is no doubt covered by the Walt Disney trademark?

I'm no Disney Corp. fan so I certainly don't mind a theme around its inherently-evil theme parks being explored, but this one looks pretty awful. Doesn't it seem more like an excuse for geeky filmschool dropouts to claim to like something so that they seem cerebrally avant-garde? Or is the trailer just totally mis-representing it or is there some inside joke that I don't know about?

I was looking for another comment that would also mention the upcoming Tomorrowland with George Clooney and Hugh Laurie (also Britt Robertson from Under the Dome).

Two entirely different takes on Disney, but still similar titles with possible close release dates.

Seems like a strange coincidence. I wasn't bashing one pr the other, just trying to distinguish between the two and why I should care about either.
This one seems weird and not very interesting except maybe as a notch in the progression of "rogue filmmaking".
