Not necessarily... You won't be lost. But both shows mention stuff that has happened in the other shows. So some stuff maybe spoiled. But it's not that big of a deal.
My recommendation is to watch Arrow Season 1 and 2. Then I recommend u watch Arrow Season 3 then Flash Season 1, but even if u don't it doesn't matter.
Just make sure that u watch the crossover episodes in order...
