I’m on my first season of this show

Hey guys I’m just starting to watch this on Netflix and it’s really good. I just season 1 and it was so good.
Incredibly thrilling and fast peaced in just one season Ollie found out what really happened with his father.
Sure he was with him but what I mean is he found out his accident wasn’t really an accident and his mom was part of that plan. Also his best friend knows about his secret identity.


Great job from the writers by not making black and white characters and giving them all some depth.
Now there is some small problems with the villains like deadshot being one note and the reason Helena decided to go full evil.
Now his best friends father also knows his secret identity and I’m sure that is gonna be the main trouble on season two.


The acting is great by everyone but the stand outs Stephen Amell, the actress who plays Oliver’s mother, two Merlyns Tommy and his father and Laurel’s father.



Now Another little flaw is that Black Cannary has not appeared yet. I thought I’d see her in season 1 but nooo.

Now I’ve read they are taking a lot of liberties with the source material which is okay more specifically with the personality of our lead.
The most interesting thing is they did the opposite of what Marvel did with Tony Stark :
Marvel made Tony much more lighthearted for the movies while CW made green Arrow way darker for the show.


by the way I’ve noticed a lot of similarities between Tony Stark and Oliver Queen Especially their origins. Their origins aren’t identical but both did an escape from their captors.

Tony was kidnapped in Afghanistan while oliver on a desert island and both turned heroes because of what happened there and both changed because of that event in their life’s.
