Lawsuit
The Native American Guardian’s Association, a group that represents Native American rights, has filed a lawsuit to get the name changed back to the Washington Redskins. Since the team is a private organization, I don't see it going anywhere. But have to love the fact that Native Americans, who are supposed to be the one that were offended, are trying to get it back.
