I've only just started watching this series and love it apart from one thing which stopped me giving a rating higher than 8: the problem is that Irish harriden of a housekeeper, it would have been far better to have had an English housekeeper complete with understandable morals not those of this woman who belongs in Victorian times

I like Mrs. McCarthy even though she can be too much of a stereotype. Gotta love her flag when waiting for the German priest. :P The show is a lot more fun because of her. She gives it a more Catholic church vibe.
