What happened to Susie?
... she hasn't been mentioned this series.
shareI was wondering the same thing. Either she's moved back to Poland or got a job somewhere else. Bit odd that no one has mentioned her though.

It's been bugging me, too. I think it's unlikely that Susie would return to Poland as it was established in the first season that both her parents are dead, so she's got no family there to go back to. Plus at the time the series is set Poland was occupied by the Soviets, and that was the reason Susie had remained in the UK post-war, having fled there following the Nazis' invasion.
In reality, I suspect either the actress who played Susie was unavailable, or the second season of Father Brown suffered a slight budget squeeze, meaning one of the regular cast had to be dropped and the producers decided Susie was expendable.
