Trailer looked too good to be true as per every other trailer recently. But you know what...

The movie was actually quite good.

I didn't have my hopes up walking into this, but expected something to laugh at for cringeworthiness at least. All the reviews I saw said this was bad, but nothing to watch at the cinema.

I left the cinema thinking, actually I enjoyed this movie. Dare I say it, even more than Dunkirk, War of the Planet of the Apes, The Mummy, Wonder Woman, Baywatch, even edged Spiderman.

It brought back the feelings I experienced when I firt saw Guardians of the Galaxy or going to Zante, Greece. A world away from the world.

The dialog wasa little cheesy, acting was iffy, but the visuals were the best I've seen in years. I loved the exploration and generally mindless fun. As long as you drop your frigidness it's very enjoyable. I've been dissappointed a lot this summer, but this one is a little bit of a gem.
