New Age False Christ depicted in this series!
I am a born again Christian and was naturally looking forward to seeing my Lord and saviour on screen, I really enjoyed the 1977 mini series, with Robert Powell, Jesus of Nazereth.
However after watching this series I am of the firm belief that this film is certainly pushing a new age false Christ agenda, he is not the Lord and saviour, I know from the holy Bible.
Many important things pertaining to the scriptures were twisted and changed to suit their agenda and some facts were left out completely, the most important one that only through the blood of Jesus can we find salvation.
Why would anyone claiming to be followers of Christ want to that unless it was serving another Master, ie Satan.
It is very cleverly and subtlety woven into the material, not glaring obvious but will have disastrous ramifications to the unwary who would be led by this false depiction of Christ.
The actors themselves have quite an interesting history with the new age movement.
Roma Downey (also co-producer of the Bible Mini series)starred in the show touched by an angel depicting female Angels, Angels are always, exclusively males in appearance.
The show itself promoted humanism, with a touch of feel good, Christianity here and there.
In real life she certainly couldn't be called modest and dresses quite inappropriately for a supposed follower of Christ.
She's even educated with a new age degree in "spiritual Psychology"
Some of the things this includes are the following,
"Experiencing enhanced, spiritual awareness through knowing yourself as a divine being, having a human experience"
"Manifesting greater success, personally and professionally"
In other words, thinking and manipulating ones fortunes, in line with the teachings of the new age philosophy, "the secret".
"Transforming your conscience and your life by integrating the principles and practice of spiritual psychology"
A system that you can work akin to Wicthcraft.
In her own words she has said,
Says Roma, who lives in Malibu, ‘My kids go to school about a 40-minute drive away. I’m open to the group’s opinion about what we listen to on the way there. On the way back, I get my own selections — books on tape by Eckhart Tolle, Tony Robbins…My husband says I’m so self-realized I’m practically levitating.’
She's very open to her " New world view" and proud of her degree.
She professes to be a Catholic, (mystical Catholic)
The Eckhart movement are using Catholics to learn and study the New Age movement, then promote and merge their ideas, practices with Catholicism.
I know that not all Catholics are bad people and have a couple as friends who are Catholic but it is my firm belief that at the very top of their religion, ie the Popes, Vatican is inherently evil, promoting the new age movement, deception and are Luciferians at their very core
Eckhart Tolle himself is a Satanic( New age movement) author and "teacher" who promotes his lies and deception.
In his book, " A new earth" he says the following,
"Only the truth of who you are if realized, will set you free"p.80 (partly true that were all sinners, and have to realize this fact before we can be saved, however he certainly did not mean it in a Christian context)
In contradiction to Jesus teachings,
John 8:31-32
31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
" to such an extent you can no longer feel your humanity, nor the rootedness in the one life that you share with each human being, your common divinity" p74
Essentially saying we're all divine. Satan said something similar to Eve in Genesis 3, "you can be as gods..."
Diogo Morgado, who plays Jesus, called "hot" Jesus by many fans, promoting the sin of lust into the Messiah, Lord of all Creation doesn't bode well.
He is of Portuguese descent and use to be a model. He also starred in tacky, borderline soft core pornography, hardly an ideal candidate to play the son of God.
What was incredibly blasphemous was the adding and subtracting from Gods word that was done in the film.
Jesus saying to Peter, " give me an hour and I'll give you a brand new life"
Terrible cheesy, not in scriptures btw...
After being rude to Jesus, Peter takes him fishing, where Jesus provides a miracle and gives him an abundance of fish.
When Peter asks Jesus what they're going to do? Jesus replies "change the world"
Very corny..
Jesus didn't come to change the world, the world hates Jesus.
It hated him then, it hates him now.
John 15:18 "If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you."
He came to change us, and save us sinners.
Timothy 1:15
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
The 13 disciples, including Mary??? In reality Jesus pulled the 12 apostles and taught them.
Mary's faith being stronger than the other disciples, complete lies and not there.
In the bible the Angels tell the three women that Jesus would rise on the third day.
In the movie they remember all this on their own.
Amongst many other inconsistencies, lies.
Left out the great commission when Jesus ascended to Heaven
Matthew 28-18-20
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
The Good news of Jesus Christ is essential and was left out completely

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
That's why the good news is the best news any human being can hear, for there is only one mediator between Man and God Almighty, Christ the Lord, the only Son of God. Amen.
However in the movie Jesus never mentions the penalty of sin and that we need to be made new creations through repentance and the blood of Christ.which alone equips us to make disciples and go into the world, NOT converts to a better way, happier way or peaceful life.
If you truly want to know Christ then please pick up a bible and begin your personal relationship with God.
Do not be deceived with this New age trash.
