WOW! Just WOW!

Just finished watching the first season and maaaan was this a great piece of drama. Beautifully written, acted out etc.

I liked how real life like it was, exploring the feelings, fears, situations etc.

Can't wait to start with season2.

The only problem I've got with BBC shows is that usually the first and second season are good; great even, while from that point on it starts becoming soapy.

S2 wasn't as popular as S1, but it was planned as a trilogy so won't go beyond the S3 currently filming.

Incidentally Broadchurch isn't a BBC show.

I liked S2 as much as S1, the quality is as high, the performances of the actors even better because they've grown into their role.

I did, too, and I loved the way S2 ended,
with the townspeople banishing Joe.
I have some problems with the entire series, but I have to agree the acting is impressive. Our two lead detectives and the Rampling character from season 2 is amazing. Subtle, gritty, believable.
